The mandate of protecting, fostering and promoting the right of all citizens to affordable and accessible quality education and skills training at all levels of educational system in support to the development of high quality Filipino middle- level and high- level manpower responsive to and in accordance with the national goals and priorities are a joint responsibilities of both public and private learning institution.

The Bohol College of Science and Technology, Inc., emerge from the center- point of the province of Bohol as founded by members of marginalized sector of the Municipality of Sagbayan, Sagbayan, Bohol is determined to establish a well-defined and more cost-effective ways in reaching out the poor through relevant, functional, socially and morally responsible curricular programs in the field of science and technology.

Guided with its core values, BCST, Inc. will serve as dynamic hub for all micro and macro programs, projects and activities (in addition to its relevant curricular programs) that have greater impact to poverty alleviation and for immediate, direct, effective and sustainable technology transfer to the people in the community. To provide alternative livelihood to indigent community folks, domestic and global employment for middle- level and high level manpower through intensive education and training of its clientele are the primary concerns as envisioned by the college.
